"Oh by the way, I hear that you are obese, I don't know if that is true or not? But I will assume that it is. Lets say your obesity caused James to get a heart attack, and that heart attack caused braindamge, in-fact you already are suffering from braindamage. But lets assume the heart attack you suffer in the future, will cause more braindamge. The brain damage you suffer is so severe that there will be no-brain activity in your brain. Not, that it can't get anyworse.
Would you James want your family to keep you alive for 15 years using a feeding tube. The only picutres, I have seen of you are the ones posted by jimmy, I don't know if that is really you or not? However when you do suffer your heart attack, and your brain gets damage beyond what damage is already there. I would like to see you James Yearin, on national TV with a feeding tube, and slowing watch you physically state detoraite over a peroid of 15 years as Mrs. Schivio has, and see your family tell the people that james can be revied we just need to give him time. Only time will till."
Till? The issue here is not what I want, but what Terry Schiavo wants. Nobody knows what Terry Schiavo wants. She never made a living will, she never forsaw this from happening. We therefore have to assume certain things. Either we assume she wouldn't want to live, or we err on the side of preserving life. If we assume she wouldn't want to live then eventually we start making that assumption, a judgment, about anyone we think is "unhappy", or, more realistically, is a burden to us. Hitler was a big fan of killing the disabled, the weak, the elderly, the invalid. TO him it was a burden on the state, a sign of inferiority, etc. This is no different. Erring on the side of preserving life is an act of hope-- the hope that Schiavo will get better, the hope that medicine will advance, the fact that she could recover.
It is simply amazing that we have liberals disregard life in such staggering proportions that they are willing to about 40 million babies, clone embryos and discard them, and kill the elderly and infirm under a "right to die" mantra, all under the name of compassion.
Jesusisangry continues:
"I do not know what type of religon you practice. But if you are christian, and you beleive that once you die you get judged. I don't know how you feel if your able to look down either from heaven or look up from hell and see your physical body still on earth with feeding tubes attached to you body, keeping you alive, and watching your family vist you and say james how are doing? come on james talk to me, say a few words to mommy, make mommy hear your voice again. Maybe in your moms eyes she thinks that you will one day open your mouth and say I have returned to you mom."
I've graded papers by fourth graders that made more sense. I don't know what the hell you're talking about. The facts are we don't know if Terry Schiavo feels love from her family or not, if she knows she is alive. That is not an excuse to kill someone, however. You talk a lot about "experiencing it directly", but you're sitting there not experiencing it at all-- you're saying Terry Schiavo deserves to be killed. You have that kind of arrogance to tell her and everyone else the worth of her life.
Jesusisangry continues again:
"Like, I have always said the only to way to make republicans change there minds on issues is if the experience directly. By the way James, I do not wish a heart attack to come upon you, and for you suffer braindamge and end up like Mrs. Shivio for 15 years. and make your family go through what Mrs. schivio famiy has been going through for 15 years. Infact James Next time I pray, I shall ask the lord to make sure you don't suffer a heart attack, and suffer braindamge, and go through what Mrs. Schivo is going through."
Based on the content of your blogs, I doubt you pray. I do know, however, that you're being blasphemous.
And onward--
"I shall ask the lord, lord if you chose to take james yairan and judge him soon, please lord takes james life quickly, and painless, I don't want to see him suffer a slow death. Lord no-one including james Yairan needs to die in way that they must suffer. The wicked they can suffer in hell or eternity there is no need to for the dieing to suffer more on the earth. James have you ever heard of the phrase" every minute that pass in life takes you one minute closer to your death." Have nice a day. "
Do you want to tell me how erring on the side of life, especially with the lack of a living will, is a bad thing? Do you want to explain how compassionate is to kill someone? Do you want to explain how you can sit there and advocate the destruction of babies for stem-cell research to help the Christopher Reeves, but say that there is no hope for the Terry Schaivos?
Since you read Jimmytherighteous, AKA Matthew Martin, enough has already been said about who you are, and what your beliefs are. Frankly, you guys deserve each other.
Leftists accusing Repubs of playing God is ultimate hypocrisy
03.18.05 (11:40 am) [edit]Jesusisangry sez:
"The republicans in congress want to prevent the womens husband from removing the feeding tube, by making it illegal. These are the religious republicans, who say god will choose the time for us to die. Yet when god choose's a time for us to die, what do we as humans do. We use our medical techonolgies to prolong life for years at times. "
Actually, the did not want to make it illegal, but that's not the point. If these "religious republicans" are playing God by wanting to preserve life, what the hell is the state of Florida and Schiavo's husband doing by wanting to destroy it? The young woman's husband is clearly playing God, as is the state, by killing her, and that's exactly what it would be-- since Schiavo cannot feed herself, and has to be cared for (which her parents are willing to do).
This woman is about ready to undergo starvation and dehydration-- for two weeks. Yet these liberals who claim she has a "right" to die-- at someone else's hand-- have gone apeshit for the actions of a few soldiers who made Iraqi PRISONERS get nekked and stand in a pyramid.
Who's next? Alzheimer's patients? Those that cannot care for themselves, the elderly? I'm not surprised the left supports the killing of Terri Schiavo-- they, afterall, like to start killing in the womb-- but how dare they accuse Republicans of "playing God" when their entire movement is about a person's power ("choice", you see) over life itself?
And I would have just commented on Jesusisangry's moronic blog, but he has disabled comments.
